Job summary

HealthHIV in Washington, DC is seeking an Instructional Design Coordinator to support the Director of Training and the Instructional Design Manager in creating online training modules hosted on Moodle.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop engaging learning content, ensure accessibility, and deliver projects on schedule across a variety of formats for health education programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in instructional design or similar from an accredited college or university.
• Experience collaborating to develop effective hybrid/online courses meeting standards.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging training across multiple media and learning styles.
• Design and develop content for e-learning, web or instructor-led classes.
• Collaborate with SMEs to research, write, or edit training.
• Communicate content clearly by mastering existing sources.
• Support best practices for online, hybrid, and traditional instructional design.
• Create instructional materials/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games).
• Develop learning deliverables in engaging formats.
• Manage work to allocated effort and schedule.
• Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
