There is daily interaction with internal peers, course developers, media specialists, contractors, other IDD staff, the Senior Director of Instructional Design and Development, and the Directors of Instructional Design and Development. The position may be responsible for the overall coordination of multiple online course development activities, serving as a program manager for online course production, updates, and maintenance. The position requires superior critical thinking, interpersonal and communication skills, along with comfort working in a team environment. The Instructional Designer I must be able to navigate the higher education academic environment successfully.The Instructional Designer I plays a key role in teaching and learning for the ERAU Worldwide Campus and the Academic Innovation team. The Academic Innovation team is made up of diverse skill sets and individuals, including a Software Developer, UX Research Analysts, eLearning Support Specialists, Instructional Technologists, Instructional Designers, Instructional Consultants, Media Producers, and Digital Media Specialists.
