Innovative Network of Knowledge is seeking a Part-Time Instructional Content Specialist to design engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans and instructional slides for their virtual K-12 program. The role focuses on high-quality instructional materials, teacher collaboration, and adherence to state standards in a remote setting.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of teaching experience, a Texas teaching certificate, and experience with virtual instruction and Project-Based Learning.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of teaching experience
• Texas teaching certification required
• Master's degree preferred
• Experience in virtual/online education
• Experience with Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design standards-aligned lesson plans with the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction
• Create engaging slide decks aligned to learning objectives
• Incorporate warm-ups, guided practice, and checks for understanding
• Differentiate materials for diverse virtual learners
• Ensure consistency with state standards and organizational expectations
• Promote vertical and horizontal alignment across grades
• Maintain consistent instructional routines across courses
• Collaborate to refine scope, sequence, and pacing guides
• Apply best practices in virtual instruction and active learning
• Collaborate with leaders to improve content and delivery
• Incorporate feedback from teachers and student performance data
