The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of teaching experience, a Texas teaching certificate, and experience with virtual instruction and Project-Based Learning.

The Part-Time Instructional Content Specialist plays a key role in supporting high-quality instruction across our virtual school by collaborating with teachers and the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction to design engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans and instructional materials. This position focuses on developing clear, effective teaching slides and resources that promote student understanding, consistency, and strong instructional practices in a virtual learning environment.
The ideal candidate has experience in instructional coaching and a strong understanding of at least two core content areas. They are skilled in translating standards into practical classroom application, supporting teachers in planning rigorous and engaging lessons, and ensuring alignment with organizational expectations and best practices in online instruction.
