Job summary

Medasource is seeking experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. The role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and requires strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

Primary responsibilities include coding across specialties, ensuring accuracy, and meeting productivity/quality standards. Remote work with PST hours. Contract length: 6 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• Experience with Epic EHR and 3M encoder.
• CCS certification preferred; RHIT/RHIA credentials will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across a wide range of specialties.
• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes per standards.
• Maintain timely and accurate coding in a fast-paced environment.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations.
