The candidate will review records, validate DRG and codes, and assist leadership with process improvements while ensuring compliance with coding standards. A strong background in AHIMA/ACS certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 coding rules.
• Auditing and education delivery experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coding conventions and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical record audits to validate DRG and code assignments.
• Acts as subject matter expert and supports organizational improvement.
• Ensures compliance with THR coding policies and procedures.
• Communicates findings clearly to leadership.
