Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Compliance Professional to implement and maintain compliance programs across the revenue cycle, focusing on government regulations, HIPAA, and Medicaid/Medicare guidelines. This remote role supports Duke Health's centralized operations and requires strong auditing and documentation skills.

In this position you will educate providers, perform internal audits, identify risk areas, and collaborate with physicians and staff to strengthen coding, documentation, and compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong analytical and communication skills.
• RHIA or RHIT or CCS certification required.
• Four years of administrative experience in insurance billing, collections or revenue-cycle functions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain compliance programs per OIG work plan.
• Educate providers on government regulations including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines.
• Perform routine internal audits of provider documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve documentation, coding, and compliance.
