Duke Health's Patient Revenue Management Organization is seeking a compliance professional to implement and maintain programs that reduce legal and financial risk across the revenue cycle. The role involves educating providers on government regulations, performing audits, and collaborating with clinicians to strengthen documentation and coding practices.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and relevant certifications (RHIA/RHIT/CCS).

Competenze

• Educate providers regarding compliance with government regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and Fraud and Abuse.
• Perform analysis of current situations and set priorities for clinic needs.
• Identify coding and billing risk areas and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine internal audits of provider documentation to ensure compliance.

Mansioni

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to improve documentation, coding, and compliance.
• Review internal controls, policies, and procedures to align with University, State, and Federal guidelines.
• Communicate with Medicare/Medicaid Carriers and third party payers on policies and procedures.
• Promote Compliance initiatives with clinical faculty and administration.
• Perform related duties incidental to the work described herein.
