Job summary

Medasource is partnering with a leading health system to hire experienced Inpatient Medical Coders for a fully remote contract opportunity. This role supports a high-acuity, multi-specialty environment and is ideal for coders with strong experience handling complex inpatient cases.

This position requires CCS or RHIT/RHIA credentials, a minimum of three years inpatient coding experience, and proficiency with Epic EHR and the 3M encoder. Start ASAP for a 6-month contract with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of inpatient coding experience.
• CCS certification preferred; RHIT or RHIA credentials will also be considered.
• Proficiency with Epic EHR and 3M encoder.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate inpatient coding across a wide range of specialties.
• Assign diagnosis and procedure codes per standards and regulations.
• Maintain timely and accurate coding in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Meet established productivity and quality expectations.
