Eight Eleven Group is seeking an experienced Inpatient Coder for a fully remote contract based in Kentucky or Indiana. You will ensure accurate inpatient coding, review clinical documentation, and adhere to Coding Clinic and AHA guidelines.

You will work 40 hours weekly, 7 AM–7 PM EST, with a 3-month contract and potential extension. Prior experience with Epic, Solventum 360, and CAC is required.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of inpatient coding experience.
• RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification.
• Associate degree required.
• Experience with Solventum 360, CAC, and Epic.
• Knowledge of Coding Clinic and AHA Official Coding Guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Code inpatient records in accordance with Coding Clinic and AHA guidelines.
• Review documentation to assign diagnosis and procedure codes for hospital/physician outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to coding accuracy and compliance.
• Use Solventum 360, CAC, and Epic to support coding activities.
• Collaborate with providers to clarify documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality and data security.
