Qualifications

• Three+ years of facility-based inpatient coding experience.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation to code diagnoses (ICD-10-CM) and procedures (ICD-10-PCS).
• Communicate with physicians to clarify diagnoses and procedures through the query process.
• Perform peer reviews of coding auditors and coders to maintain coding quality.
