Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Healthcare coordination experience required.
• Familiarity with infusion therapy or clinical scheduling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Office Administration: Answer phones, receive and manage faxes and emails, facilitate communication of supply lists between RNs and pharmacies.
• Scheduling Coordination: Manage and coordinate infusion therapy appointments, collaborate with nursing staff to optimize availability, facilitate pharmacy deliveries to patients.
• Patient communication: Confirm appointments, confirm receipt of supplies/drug, address non-clinical questions.
• Record keeping: Maintain up-to-date patient records in EHR, document scheduling changes and communicate updates.
• Collaboration: Work with infusion nurses and staff to ensure staffing for procedures, participate in scheduling meetings.
