Job summary
Adapt.com is seeking an experienced infrastructure-focused engineer to own the systems that run code and real work for customers, from sandbox orchestration to storage.
This role blends product and platform work, with direct customer collaboration, emphasizing reliability, performance, and cost. Preference for the SF Presidio office, but remote work is available.
Applicants should have 4+ years in infra, multi-tenant compute experience, Rust/Go, TypeScript, and cloud/Kubernetes know-how.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of engineering experience with infrastructure ownership.
- Experience operating multi-tenant compute systems with isolation, reliability, and cost.
- Fluent in Rust or Go, proficient in TypeScript, and comfortable with Linux basics.
- Hands-on cloud, Kubernetes, and container or microVM technologies.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale secure multi-tenant sandbox orchestration and storage.
- Improve reliability, performance, and cost of customer workloads.
- Own deployments, observability, runbooks, and on-call for shipped systems.
- Collaborate with customers and engineers to solve infra and product problems.
- Make architecture decisions, ship incrementally, mentor teammates.
