Job summary

VDart Inc is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect for a 100% remote, contract-to-hire role. The candidate will design scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with long-term technology strategies, security, regulatory obligations, and business needs.

The role covers architecture diagrams, roadmaps, research, and executive-level presentations across virtualization, networking, compute, storage, and cloud environments, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

Qualifications

• Extensive infrastructure architecture experience.
• Ability to design scalable enterprise solutions.
• Strong collaboration with enterprise architects and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Create solution architecture designs and supporting documentation for enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
• Develop architecture diagrams, solution definitions, roadmaps, and presentations.
• Architect solutions across VMware, compute, storage, networking, public and private cloud.
• Apply cloud patterns with a preference for Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and technical teams throughout ideation and design.
• Present architecture recommendations to stakeholders and ARB.
• Research emerging infrastructure technologies and best practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technology costs with vendors.
