Job summary

VC3 is seeking an IT Design Architect II to lead infrastructure design aligned with IT strategy. You will collaborate with Client Strategy, PMO, and onboarding teams to define future-ready infrastructure across network, compute and storage for high availability and performance.

The role requires 5+ years in server/storage/network/backups, strong communication, and expertise in Azure cloud and security. Remote USA applicants welcome; join a values-driven team delivering trusted IT solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Diploma or equivalent.
5+ years' direct experience in supporting and maintaining Server, Storage, Network & Backups in SMB environments.
Strong understanding of IT architecture, security and data protection best practices.

Responsibilities

Align infrastructure work with the Business Architecture framework and IT strategy.
Define infrastructure for new client technologies including network, compute and storage.
Produce blueprints guiding implementation of business solutions for client projects.
Assess requirements against industry standards and cost-effective solutions.
