Job summary

Webflow is seeking an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to improve reliability and stability of production infrastructure serving millions of page views per hour. Location is remote-first with compensation tailored by geographic market.

You will work across Kubernetes, cloud tech (AWS/GCP), and observability stacks, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure secure, scalable systems and efficient incident response.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• Ops engineer with growing interest in code, or software engineer with systems focus.
• 2+ years operating distributed systems in production.
• Comfort with AWS or GCP and desire to go deeper.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes workloads; exposure to ArgoCD/Argo Rollouts.
• Observability stack experience (Datadog/OpenTelemetry) with dashboards/alerts/traces.
• Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible) fluency.
• Ability to read/modify application code to debug issues.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and incident management.
• Curious and growth-focused, embracing AI and emerging tech.

Responsibilities

• Empower engineers by maintaining monitoring tooling and observability practices.
• Improve Kubernetes reliability through resource optimization, upgrades, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Dive into the main Webflow app in Node, Python, or Go to diagnose production behavior.
• Collaborate with Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales to enable production use of Webflow services.
• Participate in and improve on-call and incident response processes.
