Job summary

Tempo is building a scalable blockchain infrastructure focused on stablecoins and real-world payments. This role ensures the engineering team ships efficiently while maintaining reliability and observability across production systems.

You will optimize DevOps processes, scale bare metal and cloud components, and help onboard major enterprises into crypto, advancing frontier technology and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and scaling bare metal servers and production systems.
• Proficient with Rust, Go or Python scripting.
• Deep expertise deploying Kubernetes in production with IaC tools like Terraform, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Experience deploying monitoring/observability with Prometheus and Grafana; secure and troubleshoot.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage infrastructure that allows the engineering team to ship quickly and effectively.
• Proactively identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the devops process to ensure optimal developer velocity.
• Maintaining Tempo chain reliability, validator infrastructure, explorer reliability and more.
• Improve Tempo core developer experience.
• Helping onboard the largest enterprises directly into crypto. Educate and help them run a validators.
• Working at the frontier of crypto performance.
