Job summary

Aether Biomedical in the United States is seeking an IT professional to lead the delivery infrastructure for enterprise apps. You will supervise Windows and Linux servers, support vendor-hosted apps, and manage VDI/Citrix based delivery platforms, with an emphasis on testing and automating deployment of new solutions.

The role involves patching and upgrading core infra for manufacturing and accounting systems, collaborating with HelpDesk and IT teams, and applying security best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
• Knowledge of Citrix and VDI delivery technologies.
• Understanding of software security and vulnerability management.
• Basics of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong English communication and ability to work remotely.
• Willingness to learn and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the App Delivery infrastructure and operating systems (Windows and Unix).
• Support vendor-hosted applications.
• Administration and maintenance of app delivery platforms (VDI, Citrix, Remote App).
• Test, implement and automate new and existing app delivery solutions.
• Patching, upgrades, and design/installation of infra for core systems like Great Plains, Hyperion and Kodak Prinergy.
• Collaborate with HelpDesk and other IT departments for problem resolution.
