Job summary

Kaplan Kirsch LLP seeks a mid-level transactional associate (3–5+ years) to join our Project Funding and Delivery Practice. You will focus on construction procurement, contracting, project finance, and project delivery across infrastructure sectors for airports, transit agencies, and state DOTs.

You will own complex procurements and financing structures, collaborating across disciplines in a national setting, with meaningful client contact and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of transactional experience in construction procurement and project delivery.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar admission (CO/NY/FL/CA preferred).
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills across complex procurements.

Responsibilities

• Drive nationwide Project Funding and Delivery practice with cross‑sector collaboration.
• Draft and negotiate project delivery procurements, contracts, funding and financing docs.
• Guide clients through federal, state, and local funding schemes and regulations.
• Advise on infrastructure delivery, real estate transactions, and financing structures.
• Travel for client meetings, site visits, and conferences as needed.
