Job summary

Kaplan Kirsch LLP seeks a mid-level associate to join the Airports Practice in Denver, CO or Orlando, FL. This role focuses on sophisticated deal work across airports, real estate, construction, public finance, and procurement, with ownership of complex matters.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of transactional experience, strong drafting/negotiation skills, and comfort working across disciplines. A dynamic, collaborative environment with travel opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in a U.S. jurisdiction (CO, NY, FL, or CA preferred).
• 3–5 years of transactional legal experience; more experienced candidates welcomed.
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and manage a broad range of agreements across airports, real estate, and public finance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the nationwide airports practice and support related disciplines across firm practices.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage development, leases, easements, construction and procurement contracts.
• Advise clients on navigating federal regulatory and funding schemes for airport matters.
• Advise on project development, infrastructure delivery, real estate transactions, funding structures, and procurement strategies.
• Travel periodically for client meetings, site visits, negotiations, and industry conferences.
