Job summary

Tensor is seeking an Electrical Engineer in San Jose, CA to design, develop, and validate infotainment hardware for automotive applications. You will work on cockpit domain controllers, audio systems, and connectivity modules, ensuring automotive-grade quality and EMI/EMC compliance.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in EE, with CAN/LIN/MOST and automotive Ethernet experience, plus lab and PCB design tool proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with automotive infotainment hardware development.
Familiarity with automotive communication protocols CAN/LIN/MOST/Automotive Ethernet.

Responsibilities

Design, development, and validation of infotainment hardware for automotive applications.
Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs for infotainment components.
Conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to meet automotive-quality standards.
Optimize infotainment systems for performance, power, and EMI/EMC compliance.
Stay updated on trends and propose innovative infotainment solutions.
