Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity, IT, or engineering.
• 2+ years of information security, IT support, or SOC experience.
• 2+ years with security tools (SIEM, EDR, phishing analysis tools).
• 2+ years with security fundamentals (networking, endpoint protection, identity management).

Responsibilities

• Triage security alerts from SIEM/EDR/email to determine severity and response.
• Serve as the first contact for security-related user issues and provide guidance.
• Escalate confirmed or high-risk incidents with clear documentation.
• Perform initial threat investigation and enrichment of suspicious activity.
• Utilize security tools to investigate and resolve issues.
• Maintain incident and user interaction records in ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance and security teams for best practices.
• Identify trends and gaps to improve detections and workflows.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline tasks and drive improvements.
