Job summary

First American is seeking an Information Security professional to support an awareness program and protect information systems. You will identify business needs, implement secure solutions, and train users across security disciplines, while maintaining compliance and reporting to management.

The role requires 3+ years in information security, experience with networks, VPNs, PKI, and firewalls, and preferred certifications (CISSP/GIAC/CCNA/CCNP).

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/IT/Telecom/EE or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years in information security.
• Experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, Checkpoint/PIX, Cisco; NAC; Identity management and encryption technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify business process requirements and related solutions for a specific business need.
• Provide training and support directly to customers.
• Research problems, test solutions, gain consensus, and implement for defined processes.
• Create documentation of security requirements and functions.
• Generate reports; analyze data and report trends to management/partners.
• Oversee small to medium projects or phases of larger projects.
• Conduct risk assessments with internal/external customers.
• Advise on risks of new or changing technologies.
• Stay abreast of industry advancements and apply them daily.
• Evaluate and select new technology.
• Resolve security problems across platforms.
