Job summary

First American is seeking a security-focused professional to support the Information Security awareness program and protect information systems. You will work with teams to identify requirements, document security controls, and implement solutions while maintaining compliance with evolving regulations.

Responsibilities include risk assessments, reporting, and assisting in the adoption of new technologies, with a focus on keeping systems secure across emails, networks, and data platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years information security experience.
• 2+ years experience with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, check point and PIX firewalls, CISCO; NAC; Identity management and encryption technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify business process requirements and related security solutions.
• Provide training and support to customers as needed.
• Research alternatives, drive solutions, and implement defined security processes.
• Create documentation of security requirements and functions.
• Generate reports and analyze data for management trends.
• Oversee small to medium projects under supervision.
• Conduct risk assessments with internal/external stakeholders.
• Support development and business units on risk related to new technologies.
• Stay updated on industry advancements and apply them.
• Evaluate and select new security technologies.
• Resolve security problems across platforms including email and file transfer.
