Job summary

First American is seeking an Information Security professional responsible for supporting the security awareness program and protecting information systems. The role involves requirements gathering, training delivery, and creating security documentation to drive compliant and secure processes.

Candidates should have a BS degree in a relevant field, 3+ years in information security, and 2+ years in networking, VPN/PKI, and firewall technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technical field.
• Minimum 3 years information security experience.
• Minimum 2+ years with networking, intrusion detection, VPN, PKI, Check Point and PIX firewalls, CISCO; NAC; Identity management and encryption technologies.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Information Security awareness program initiatives.
• Identifies business process requirements and related security solutions.
• Provides training and support to customers as needed.
• Creates documentation of security requirements and functions.
• Performs risk assessments and communicates findings to stakeholders.
• Resolves security problems to maintain operations across platforms.
