The candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity, along with a relevant degree or certifications. Key responsibilities include assisting with vulnerability assessments, monitoring security events, and documenting findings. The position offers a competitive salary between $65,000 and $85,000 and benefits such as health insurance and unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with common security tools (Nmap, Wireshark, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Monitor client environments for security events.
• Triage and investigate security alerts.
• Document findings in clear, professional reports.
• Maintain security tools and infrastructure.

Skills

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP)

Familiarity with common security tools (Nmap, Wireshark, etc.)

Knowledge of common vulnerability types
