You will maintain traceable pointers to source passages, distinguish totals from derived sums in financial narratives, and collaborate with retrieval colleagues to ensure downstream usability of extracted facts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pull structured facts from long, free-text documents with citations.
• Experience maintaining traceable links between extracted data and source passages.
• Ability to distinguish stated totals from derived sums in financial narratives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain traceable pointers from extracted facts back to exact source passages and validate cited support.
• Distinguish stated totals from derived sums in financial narratives, retaining contributing items and calculations.
• Work with entity resolution and retrieval teammates to ensure usable extracted facts downstream.
