Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Informatica/Tableau Developer for a remote contract role to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives for a government client.

The role requires designing ETL processes with Informatica, building Tableau dashboards, gathering requirements, and delivering data-driven solutions. W2 benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data integration, data warehousing, BI or analytics.
• 3+ years ETL development with Informatica.
• 3+ years Tableau report/dashboard development.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or equivalent Informatica tools.
• Develop, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and end users to support reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes, dashboard performance issues, and data quality concerns.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop technical documentation, data mappings, and operational procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities.
