Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Informatica/Tableau Developer for remote work with a Washington, DC-focused client portfolio. The role involves designing ETL processes with Informatica, building Tableau dashboards, and delivering data-driven solutions in a government-related enterprise environment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in data integration and 3+ years with Informatica and Tableau, plus strong SQL and cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP). W2 benefits are provided with a comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data integration, data warehousing, BI, or analytics.
• 3+ years designing ETL solutions with Informatica.
• 3+ years building Tableau reports and dashboards.
• Strong SQL and database knowledge (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and data quality practices.
• Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
• Certifications such as Informatica or Tableau preferred.
• Experience with government or regulated environments preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps and source control like Git or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or equivalent Informatica tools.
• Develop, enhance, and support Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, architects, and end users to support reporting requirements.
• Troubleshoot ETL processes, dashboard performance issues, and data quality concerns.
• Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Develop technical documentation, data mappings, and operational procedures.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and deployment activities.
