Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Infection Control Specialist with expertise in Cleaning & Sanitation for healthcare facilities and high-risk environments. This fully remote role focuses on developing and implementing infection control strategies across global settings.

The ideal candidate has an advanced degree in Nursing, Public Health, or Microbiology, 7+ years in infection control, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Advanced degree in Nursing, Public Health, Microbiology or Environmental Health.
• Minimum 7 years in infection control with a focus on cleaning and sanitation.
• Knowledge of sterilization, disinfection, and waste management.
• Familiarity with WHO, CDC guidelines and international standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with virtual collaboration tools.
• CIC certification is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and update infection control policies for cleaning and sanitation.
• Provide expert guidance on disinfection, sterilization, and waste management.
• Conduct remote risk assessments and analyze sanitation protocols.
• Develop training materials and conduct virtual training sessions.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes in infection control and sanitation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff, facilities management, and public health officials.
• Monitor compliance and assist in corrective action plans.
• Analyze infection rate data and sanitation effectiveness for strategic reporting.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
• Advise on use of cleaning agents, disinfectants, and equipment.
