Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update infection control policies and procedures in line with current scientific evidence and regulatory requirements.
• Provide expert consultation and guidance on infection prevention and control to healthcare facilities, businesses, and public institutions remotely.
• Conduct virtual risk assessments and audits to identify potential infection hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze epidemiological data to monitor infection trends and outbreaks, developing targeted intervention strategies.
• Design and deliver virtual training programs for staff on infection control best practices, hand hygiene, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Stay abreast of the latest research, guidelines, and technologies in infection control and public health.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Public Health, Microbiology, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
• At least 7 years of experience specifically in infection control and prevention, with a focus on policy development and implementation.
• Certified Infection Control (CIC) certification or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to interpret complex health data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in delivering virtual presentations and training.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing tools and other remote collaboration software.
• In-depth knowledge of infectious diseases, sterilization processes, and environmental hygiene.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.
