Job summary

Katmai is seeking an experienced Industrial Security Representative to support the Industrial Security Team with routine clearance actions and records management. You will process data, assist with background investigations, and maintain audit-ready documentation under the direction of the FSO.

Responsibilities include coordinating forms, reviewing SF86s, and communicating status to applicants and managers.

Qualifications

Three years of personnel security or related DoD/cleared-contractor experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience with DCSA systems (DISS, NBIS) and basic NISS familiarity.
Knowledge of personnel clearance processing and regulatory requirements.
Experience maintaining detailed, sensitive, audit-ready security records.
Protection of PII and CUI.
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; security databases.

Responsibilities

Process routine personnel security actions and maintain documentation.
Track background investigations through NBIS and DISS, including forms and fingerprints.
Review SF86 and related forms for accuracy before submission.
Coordinate with HR and Operations on cleared hires and changes.
Prepare reports for internal reviews and audits.
Provide guidance on clearance processing within delegated authority.
