Job summary

Katmai is seeking a cybersecurity professional to provide a full range of services in both unclassified and classified environments, including network administration, data center operations, asset management, backup, and Information Assurance. The role emphasizes RMF support, policy development, and incident response.

The candidate will draft policies, review STIGs, support C&A, and ensure compliant acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining Windows Server environments (Server 2019), Group Policy, AD, and file shares.
• 3–5 years in information systems security across physical, cultural, and tech environments.
• Must have DoD 8570.01 M Baseline Certification (Security+ CE or equivalent), IAT Level II, and DoD 8570 M Computing Environment Certification.
• Active Secret clearance is required (U.S. citizenship typically).
• Must obtain and maintain necessary security access/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Draft, implement, and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and mitigate impact.
• Review STIGs for system components and capabilities.
• Support and maintain Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements.
• Ensure purchases comply with cybersecurity standards.
• Support RMF processes for cybersecurity using applicable tools.
• Provide testing and verification of software.
• Deliver IA training across meetings and trainings.
• Provide weekly system/consultation reports.
• Review ACAS vulnerability scans and guide mitigations.
• Review and enforce training compliance for users.
