Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. is seeking a seasoned Business Development professional to drive growth for Aecon Industrial across the Gulf Coast. You will identify new clients in midstream, downstream, petrochemical, and industrial manufacturing markets, maintain client relationships, and drive revenue in a dynamic environment.

The role requires travel across Texas and surrounding Gulf Coast states. The primary office location is Beaumont, TX; remote work is possible.

Qualifications

• Business development and relationship building skills.
• Technical background: heavy industrial, midstream/downstream O&G, petrochemical.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop objectives and strategies for target markets in support of overall business development goals.
• Prepare and execute business development plans for target markets/clients.
• Monitor sales activity and market conditions and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Establish relationships with clients and pursue new opportunities.
• Coordinate with estimating and pricing teams for proposals and bids.
• Lead the preparation of pre-qualification, expressions of interest and proposal submissions.
