Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to support industrial construction projects across the Central region with emphasis on safety, scope, budget, and schedule. You will visit client sites in Northern US and Canada, with 40% travel, and can work remotely.

The role requires 4+ years in project management for real estate industrial construction, with a preference for 5 years. A BA/BS/BEng/BArch or equivalent experience is accepted. A valid US driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) or five years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in project management for real estate industrial construction (5 preferred).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic site visits to lead construction progress and monitor safety compliance.
• Lead project management for budgets, schedules, procurement, quality & risk across multi-asset facilities.
• Manage HVAC, roofing, and roadway asset projects on industrial sites, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
• Demonstrate ability to manage budgets, scheduling, cost, and estimates.
• Support construction and renovation projects and ensure staff follow safety requirements and procedures.
• Mentor junior staff and report regional KPIs while driving program improvements.
• Build strong client relationships to ensure delivery against expectations and identify improvement opportunities.
• Interpret and apply complex documents (agreements, contracts, leases, charters, drawings).
• Prepare scope, resources, cost estimates, budgets, work plans, and risk identifications.
• Source resources through pre-qualified lists or RFx; conduct bid analyses; recommend resources to clients.
• Communicate via meetings and written reports; keep client and resources informed.
• On-site presence requirements may change based on client needs; comply with SOX where applicable.
