Job summary

EECO is seeking an Electrical Specialist to provide remote and office-based technical support for industrial automation products from its Richmond, VA location. You will support sales, engineering, and operations with product selection, configuration, and troubleshooting, while diagnosing PLC/HMI and drive-related issues.

Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years in industrial automation, technical support, or related role.
Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products and CAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate technical assistance to external customers via phone, email, and remote tools.
Assist EECO’s sales, engineering, and operations teams with product selection, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to PLCs, HMIs, drives, sensors, motor control and industrial networking.
Maintain detailed records of support cases, solutions, and technical best practices.
Develop and deliver training sessions for EECO’s teams and its customers on product features and applications.
Stay current with new technologies, product updates, and industry trends to enhance support capabilities.
