Job summary

JR Automation Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Software Engineer for our Digital Solutions Group to design and implement software for industrial automation and data systems integration.

You will work on Ignition-based applications, from HMIs to MES solutions, and collaborate across teams to meet Industry 4.0 demands. You will also develop non-Ignition software for automation, data interfaces, embedded systems, and tool development.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in Computer Science or similar discipline with a focus on software engineering.
A two-year degree with significant applicable experience is acceptable.
3+ years of Ignition application development experience required.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Develop applications using Ignition for HMIs, data handling, and MES solutions.
Design non-Ignition software for automation, data integration, IIoT, and test systems.
Develop back-end services, databases, interfaces, and drivers.
Contribute to internal tooling and automation projects.
