Job summary

RoviSys is seeking engineers passionate about industrial digitalization to design, deploy, and commission Ignition-based SCADA and MES solutions connecting manufacturing operations with business objectives.

You will translate customer requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions, supporting all phases from design through startup. Ignition experience and strong teamwork are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of configuration experience within Ignition platform.
• Ability to work in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform technical responsibilities.
• Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, presenting ideas and solving problems.
• Thorough understanding of control system design and coding.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and teamwork.
• Hands-on Ignition implementation experience including data source connectivity, historian integration, ERP/PLM integration, and modern web UI deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Ignition SCADA systems; document solution design and implementation.
• Partner with customers and analysts to define functional requirements using iterative approaches.
• Break down work into tasks for developers and configurators; oversee completion.
• Testing and on-site commissioning of control systems.
• Travel to customer sites for gathering requirements, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Work with teams to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing.
• Apply CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices to deployments.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to engineers and foster innovation.
• Explore AI and low-code approaches to improve efficiency and scalability.
