Job summary
JR Automation, A Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Software Engineer for its Digital Solutions Group to design and implement software for industrial automation and data integration. This remote role may require occasional travel to JR facilities or customer sites, typically under 20% of time.

Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Computer Science or similar, or two-year degree with significant applicable experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing Ignition applications.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Inductive Automation’s Ignition software, from HMIs to MES-scale systems.
- Design and implement non-Ignition software for industrial automation, data integration, IIoT, and test systems.
- Develop .NET applications, interfaces/drivers, embedded software, and database solutions.
- Work on high-end vision systems and internal tooling for automation teams.
