Job summary

JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement software for industrial automation and data systems integration within the Digital Solutions Group.

You will primarily work with Ignition-based applications, .NET, and SQL, collaborating across divisions on 1-of-1 automation projects, while traveling up to 20% to JR facilities or customer sites.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in Computer Science or similar discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of experience developing Ignition applications is required.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

Design and implement software for industrial automation and data systems integration.
Develop applications using Ignition; contribute to non-Ignition projects as needed.
Collaborate across JR divisions to support Industry 4.0 initiatives.
