Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking an Incident Response Consultant (Remote) to join our Services team. You will work on high-profile incident response engagements, conduct intrusion investigations, and perform host and network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux.

You will develop novel hunting methods, analyze large data sets, and deliver comprehensive reports to executives, regulators, and legal counsel while collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging AI tools to accelerate outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting or managing incident response investigations.
• Background using forensic analysis tools to determine scope of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols and network log analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as part of the technical team on incident response engagements.
• Develop and use new methods to hunt for bad actors across large data sets.
• Conduct intrusion investigations under project leadership and external counsel.
• Perform host and/or network forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Produce high-quality written/verbal reports and findings for stakeholders.
