Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Compliance Analyst to strengthen import compliance and protect our clients’ supply chains across the United States and Canada.

You will review customs documentation, classifications, valuations, trade programs, and regulatory requirements while partnering with brokers and internal teams to support smooth operations. This role follows a Monday–Thursday schedule with specific weekend hours; you must be available to work this schedule consistently as part of a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in custom/import compliance or related field.
• Evening and weekend coverage when required to support client operations.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site automotive client operations and serve as a trusted resource for North American import compliance.
• Manage daily trade compliance activities in accordance with U.S. and Canadian import regulations, client procedures, and company policies.
• Review commercial documentation, purchase orders, and customs entry data for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with designated customs brokers to support import operations, customs clearance, and timely issue resolution.
• Validate Right to Make Entry documentation, HTS classifications, customs valuation, and Country of Origin determinations.
• Assess AD/CVD applicability, Free Trade Agreement eligibility, and other import requirements.
• Review compliance with U.S. trade remedies and special tariff programs (Sections 301, 232, 122).
• Coordinate post-entry corrections and collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
