Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Compliance Analyst to strengthen import compliance for our automotive client across the United States and Canada.

You will review documentation, classifications, valuations, and trade programs while partnering with brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant transactions. This role requires a Thursday–Monday schedule with specific shift times and the ability to cover evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in custom/import compliance or related field.
• Willingness to provide evening and weekend coverage to support client operations.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site automotive client operations as a trusted compliance resource.
• Manage daily trade compliance activities per U.S./Canadian import regulations.
• Review commercial docs, POs, and customs data for accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with customs brokers to support import operations and issue resolution.
• Validate Right to Make Entry docs, HTS classifications, and country of origin determinations.
• Assess AD/CVD applicability and Free Trade Agreement eligibility.
• Coordinate post-entry corrections and collaborate with teams to resolve issues.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
