Job summary

C.H. Robinson is seeking a Compliance Analyst to strengthen import compliance and safeguard our clients’ supply chains across the United States and Canada.

You will review classifications, valuations, and trade programs, collaborating with brokers and internal teams to ensure accurate, compliant import transactions for an automotive client. The role requires capacity to work a Thursday–Monday schedule, with weekend and evening hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years of import/compliance experience.
• Evening and weekend coverage required to support client operations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support on-site automotive client operations and act as a trusted resource for North American import compliance.
• Manage daily trade compliance activities per U.S. and Canadian regulations, client procedures, and company policies.
• Review commercial documentation, purchase orders, and customs entry data for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with customs brokers to support import operations and timely issue resolution.
• Validate Right to Make Entry, HTS classifications, customs valuation, and country of origin determinations.
• Assess AD/CVD applicability, FTAs, and PGAs and other import requirements.
• Review compliance with U.S. trade remedies and tariff programs (Sections 301, 232, 122).
• Coordinate post-entry corrections and work with teams to resolve issues.
• Support audits, reviews, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
