Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years in insurance or financial services operations, annuity experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of independent distribution and IMO models.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex service issues across silos.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with internal teams and partners.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; proficiency with MS Office and CRM/wf tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison for escalated operational concerns from IMO back offices, coordinating resolution of high‑impact issues.
• Build and maintain strong operational relationships with IMO partners and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, New Business, Licensing & Appointments, Commissions, and Technology to improve distribution operations.
• Educate IMO partners on Talcott’s service model, procedures, turnaround times, and digital tools.
• Identify patterns in service issues and recommend process improvements.
• Partner with Relationship Managers and Sales Leadership to align operational strategy with account goals.
• Support onboarding and training of new distribution partners, including systems access and workflow orientation.
• Participate in business process improvement initiatives and cross-functional groups as SME on distribution operations.
• Travel occasionally to IMO site visits or industry conferences.
