Job summary

Virtual Latinos is seeking an experienced Immigration Paralegal to support a U.S.-based immigration law firm serving Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia. The role is fully remote.

You will independently prepare and manage cases from intake through filing, coordinate with employers and foreign national employees, and ensure accuracy and deadlines for H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, NIW, and EB-1 petitions. The right candidate has at least four years of U.S.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in U.S. employment-based immigration preferred.
• Hands-on experience preparing H-1B, L-1, and O-1 petitions required.
• Experience preparing PERM, NIW, and EB-1 petitions.
• Independently prepare and manage employment-based immigration cases from intake through filing.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment-based immigration procedures and forms.
• Experience drafting petitions, affidavits, and supporting documentation.
• Ability to manage multiple cases with deadlines and effective client communication.

Responsibilities

• Employment-Based Immigration Case Management: Prepare and manage cases from intake through filing, ensuring deadlines.
• Petition Preparation & Legal Documentation: Draft and review H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, NIW, EB-1 petitions and supporting docs.
• Client Communication & Coordination: Collect information, obtain signatures, provide updates to clients and attorneys.
• Documentation Review & Quality Control: Check materials for accuracy and compliance before submission.
• Case Tracking & Deadline Management: Maintain files, monitor deadlines, and follow up on docs.
• Attorney & Legal Team Support: Assist attorneys with materials and interviews/hearings as needed.
