Job summary

Ellis Porter is seeking an Immigration Attorney on our High-Skilled Immigration team. You will join attorneys and case managers to help clients navigate work visa issues across technology, bioscience, and emerging sectors.

The role can be fully remote within the United States or based in Michigan offices (Troy or Ann Arbor) as hybrid/in-person, with all work performed in the U.S. You will develop strategies for EB-1A/EB-1B/EB-2 NIW and O-1 petitions, conduct client interviews, gather supporting

Qualifications

• 1-3+ years of experience in U.S. immigration matters.
• US law degree and bar admission in good standing.
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience using digital tools to streamline workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement legal strategies for work visa matters (EB-1A/EB-1B/EB-2 NIW/O-1).
• Interview clients to gather information and explain processes.
• Prepare and file immigration petitions with USCIS.
• Respond to Requests for Evidence and coordinate with team.
