Job summary

enGen seeks an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems. You will support clinical environments, manage interfaces with EMR, RIS, and PACS, and improve imaging workflows and data exchange.

Qualifications

• Information Systems or Technology field background required.
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or a similar role within a healthcare environment.
• Lean/Six Sigma
• Health Insurance or Healthcare Industry experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure an optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images and monitor interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS and Voice Recognition.
• Participate in full SDLC, create/maintain project documents, manage requirements to complete on time and within budget.
• Communicate downtime, upgrades and workflow changes to stakeholders with minimal disruption.
• Assist with vendor management for imaging applications; learn new skills including DICOM/HL7, transmission protocols, and server management.
• Ensure QA/compliance with standards; support testing, documentation, and UAT; contribute to design documents and architecture as needed.
