Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces within the healthcare environment. You will support the clinical workflow, image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange across EMR, RIS, PACS, and related systems.

You will engage in project management, vendor coordination, and ongoing improvements of imaging workflows, while upholding federal regulations and standards such as DICOM and HL7.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with medical imaging systems and clinical interfaces is preferred.
• Knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures an optimal environment for viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Monitors interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verifies data integrity and optimizes imaging workflows for efficiency.
• Participates in policy development for image management with regulatory awareness.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to drive value and cost-effective solutions.
