Job summary

enGen is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to ensure the optimal performance, integrity, and compliance of medical imaging systems and interfaces within the healthcare system. The role supports the clinical environment, enabling seamless image viewing, interpretation, and data exchange.

Responsibilities include managing PACS/RIS/EMR interfaces, ensuring data integrity, participating in the full system development lifecycle, vendor relations, and QA/compliance with DICOM and HL7 standards

Qualifications

• Information Systems or Technology (required).
• Experience in medical imaging systems administration, PACS administration, or healthcare environment preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience.
• Healthcare industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal viewing and interpretation of medical images.
• Manage interfaces to EMR, RIS, PACS, and Voice Recognition systems.
• Verify data integrity and optimize image workflows.
• Participate in policy development, compliance, and imaging standards.
• Support project lifecycle documents and vendor relations.

Skills

PACS, RIS, EMR proficiency

DICOM/HL7 knowledge

Network, protocols, server management

Hardware/software implementation

Data retrieval for KPIs

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field

Master’s degree (preferred)
